Poking, Marshal Style
Law has 3 types of essential moves:
- poke
- throw
- juggle
this first page talks about fast pokes.
Some fast pokes are 1,1,1... (all high)
F+2,2,2 (high mid high) rave war!
1,2,4 (high high mid)
just mixing those up is enough to stop your opponent in his tracks and have their life ticked
away ever so slowly.
You can use the 1,1,1 as a starter for the other two also. So you can do 1,1,1,1,2,4 or 1,1,2,2,2
The strategy for using them is just mix them up, sometimes don't finish the whole sequence, sometimes
repeat them two or three times (that works very well with 1,2,4... doing that over and over kills almost everyone)
The beauty of these pokes is that they are very fast (8 frames at startup) and have good (not perfect) priority. And they basically set up Laws vicious pressure game. This leads us into throws and juggles.
