Although the previous page was the meat and potatoes of Paul,
these moves will help round out the, umm meal... that is Paul Pheonix.
- Shredder = uf+3,4
- Shoulder Ram = f+1+4
- Reaching Jab = df+2
- Twish and Shout = DF+1+2 (throw)
The Shredder is my favorite way to end a combo. It comes out quick and easy
and it does good damage. Use the shredder to pop your opponant up in the air.
The shredder also has good priority in wake up games.
The shoulder ram is a nice suprise move and CANNOT BE REVERSED. It
goes around some attacks to knock your opponant to the floor. The
shoulder ram also goes around the ankle kick (d+4, when on the ground, face up, feet toward)
The reaching jab is an unassuming move. It looks like a dinky little punch.
but, it has range, and its fast. After you land that, you can whip out a
VERY quick throw for a 2 hit "How did I get on the floor!?" combo.
(df+2~DF+1+2)It's a usefull move that really should be explored.
Twist and shout. It's fast, it has long range, and it's escaped by
both punch buttons... which makes it a little harder to get out of then
your garden variety paul throw. Throw the twist and shout in right
after a Thruster-stun or after the Reaching Jab.
