Heihachi Mishima
if you only learn one mishima, learn heihachi. He has the most
tools at his disposal, and the best mix ups of all of them.
key moves for Heihachi.
- hell sweeps - f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4
- wind god fist - f,N,d,d/f+2
- twin pistons - d/f+1,2
- dark thrust - ws+2
- power punch - qcf+2
the hell sweeps, and why you should learn them first
first of all, that f,N,d,d/f motion is kind of tricky. Mastering
it is crucial to you becoming effective with any Mishima. But
Heihachi can do the most from his hell sweeps. Here are his
basic options.
- f,N,d,d/f+4 - one hell sweep. no big whoop.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4 - two hell sweeps. will knock down and punish.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4 - 3 hell sweeps. very punishing.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,1 - sweep to uppercut. low to mid.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,1 - two sweeps to uppercut.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4,1 - 3 sweeps to uppercut.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,N,4 - sweep to kick. the safest option.
- f,N,d,d/f+4,N,4,4 - sweep to tsunami kick
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,N,4 - 2 sweeps to kick
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,N,4,4 - 2 sweeps to tsunami kick
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4,N,4 - 3 sweeps to kick
- f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4,N,4,4 - 3 sweeps to tsunami kick
so, as you can see, with 12 different options Heihachi has the
most potent low sweep game of all the Mishimas. The only down
side is that the second sweep is not guaranteed on any of these.
It can be blocked as easily as Kings' stagger kicks with a d/b.
Therefore, you will have to be tricky and either mix up the low
second sweep, or the high kick/uppercut option... or, spice up
your barrage of sweeps with some wind god fists for confusion in
a high/low mix-up.
you can also combo the sweeps for fun damage combos.
try these:
- two sweeps to kick, wind god fist (f,N,d,d/f+4,4,N,4, f,N,d,d/f+2)
- three sweeps to kick, sweep to uppercut (f,N,d,d/f+4,4,4,N,4, f,N,d,d/f+4,1)
- wind god fist to two sweeps to tsunami kick (f,N,d,d/f+2, f,N,d,d/f+4,4,N,4,4)...i think that works.
- see what else you can do. it's pretty versatile.
Wind God Fist
Heihachi's WGF (wind god fist) hits mid, and can be reversed. The
true power of it lies in its innate juggling ability, and the crouch
dash cancels.
- wgf,f+1,b+2,1 - moderately flashy, relatively easy, decent damage
- wgf,4 - good damage, hella easy, zero style.
- wgf,thunder god fist - f,N,d,d/f+1, f,N,d,d/f+2 - very tough, hella style
- electric wgf, ewgf, ewgf - pretty damn tough, mad style.
- wgf, sweep combos - experement and see what you like.
other then that, i pretty much covered the wind god fist in the Mishima primer
if you haven't read it yet... you should.
